Black Dragon Cruises – South Padre Island
This has absolutely been the best year of my life. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband, daughter and the best friends a person could ever want. For my birthday, we were treated to an exciting trip on the Black Dragon Pirate Ship by Jerry and Jacky Wilson of South Padre Live fame www.southpadrelive.com They are inspiring, loving, wonderful people I have had the pleasure to meet and become friends with. On top of all that they have done for me and my family, they threw a pirate cruise on top of that. Can you believe that? How cool is that? Here is Baby Island Princess Jr. in front of the entrance to the building where you check in for your cruise.
I knew when I saw this adorable baby girl playing that there were going to be ample opportunities for great photos.
This pirate guy started fixing up the cannon.
He had trouble starting the light and asked for help but everyone was too scared to offer. You never know what crazy antics those pirate fiends are up to.
There WAS an earth-shattering KA-BOOM!
With that, we began to board the pirate vessel.
This pirate ride was giving everyone ample opportunities for great photos. Note the man taking pictures on the bottom of the photo.
The crew was great with the kids, even when the kids were acting all silly.
Some were a bit rambunctious.
and some just plain big for their britches.
Everyone had a great time on the high seas with these rascals.
That pirate princess was sure pretty.
She gave out all the gold doubloons and triploons.
Gunney Bill was the nice pirate.
He also gave out booty that had to be shared equally according to the pirate Code of Conduct.
You could look this cool if you took the pirate trip too.
There is an armada of ships for sale at the gift shop.
Cool hats and wall art too.
These kids couldn’t decide on what was cooler the skull necklace or the pin.
